The auctioneering business was established over forty years ago by Arthur Hanley and is now run by his son Gerard Hanley. From its origins in the early 1960's as McGarry & Hanley, up to the present day as Gerard Hanley Auctioneers, we have gained many years experience of buying, selling and valuing all types of property, i.e. residential, commercial and agricultural. Gerard Hanley Auctioneers is an independent, family run business and thereby can guarantee a personal touch in all our dealings with our valued clients.
The Mortgage Business was established in 1976, when we secured an agency with Irish Permanent, now known as Permanent tsb. The Permanent tsb is managed by Maureen Finnerty who has over twenty years experience in lending and investment services.
Our Office holds a prime location on Dalton Street in the heart of Claremorris and our display windows give maximum exposure to our properties. The Business is run by Gerard Hanley who holds a Bachelor of Business Studies Honours Degree specialising in marketing and a Certificate in Auctioneering & Estate Agency. He is a member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers.
